Wild Food Thanksgiving
Sunday, November 3rd at Wilder Waters Community in Canton, Maine, is the 12th annual Wild Food Thanksgiving from 12:00PM to 4:00PM.
We bring dishes that include wild food (the more wild food, the better), including meals, breads, soups, snacks, and deserts. People label their food (location, ingredients, etc.) so folks know what is found in each dish.
Wilder Waters Community will be providing a wild rice dish along with other dishes TBD--hopefully a black bear dish, if we are so lucky this hunting season. Feel free to post what you plan to bring so we don't all bring the same item!
This is an event where we celebrate our relationship to wild food with friends and family and loved ones.
Children are welcome!
This is a *FREE* event. Although if you would like to bring a $5- $10 donation to go towards land purchase at Wilder Waters, it would be not be turned down!
